James Harden

James Harden is the epitome of "swag" on and off the court. His ability to tap into youth culture and set trends are like no other. In August of 2015, James signed up to join adidas.

The Harden Vol. 1 collection dropped in December 2016 anchored by the Shorty Award winning #Project Harden, best in class retail experiences, and consumer activations such as the 24 Hour, 3 City, 10 Thousand Consumer "Wake The Game Up" event.

Harden Vol. 2 launched Holiday 2017.


 

HARDEN LS

Starting with a simple brief of "editing to amplify" the Harden Vol. 1 shoe for the street, the product team in concert with James took a literal knife to the Harden Vol. 1 shoe. By removing two of the iconic materials that served as performance upgrades, the vamp overlay material, and the TPU midsole wrap, the team was able to highlight more of two of the hottest brand technologies in Boost and Primeknit. The uncaging of the Harden Vol. 1 created a shoe that was lighter, sleeker and more comfortable for the summertime when James is recharging for the start of the season. 

The Harden LS launched July 1st, 2017.
