Damian Lillard

Damian Lillard is one of the NBA's best point guards and, without a doubt, the league's best hip hop artist. His ability to embrace the culture of the game on and off the court made him a perfect fit for adidas. 

With Damian playing in our backyard for the Portland Trailblazers, it allowed for unprecedented access to the athlete, making the process extremely collaborative. Whether it was brainstorming ideas for his logo in a Santa Monica hotel room, fine-tuning a prototype, or telling stories to color designers in my office, Damian was determined to have the product accurately reflect his story, making the journey across the D Lillard 1 and D Lillard 2 one of the best of my career.
